InfoThe football league was formed in 1999 and plays under the banner of the South Manchester & Cheshire Christian Football League, with all the teams in the league representing a Christian Church/Organisation of some kind. However, not all players within the league are Christians, and the teams welcome individuals who are either keen footballers or interested in learning more about the Christian faith. We believe you'll find the league an enjoyable, competitive environment where quality football is played in a good spirit. So, if you interested in joining a team or even entering a new one please do not hesitate to contact us. Aim of the leagueTo provide an environment through which people can come to know the Lord through playing football which is competitive and played in a friendly spirit. Mission
A BridgeThe South Manchester & Cheshire Christian Football League is a bridge provided for the use of the Churches who play within the League. It is a bridge for the unsaved to cross over and be saved. People who play in the League are now on the bridge and aware that there is something at the other end. It is the responsibility of all Christians in the League to help people to the other end, be they from their own team or another. ConceptThe SMCCFL is for church based teams wishing to play about once every 2 weeks. Aims
